Rosemont is a large, established, cohesive neighborhood bordered by Watt Avenue, Folsom Boulevard, Bradshaw Road and Jackson Highway.
The area is home to several schools and parks, including Rosemont Community Park, a 17-acre park with multiple play areas, butterfly garden, lighted tennis courts, soccer field, two little league fields, and a picnic area. The park also hosts a food truck fest every month. Locals don’t have to go far to experience a diverse selection of cuisine - a number of restaurants can be found throughout Rosemont, including the wildly popular Oz Korean Barbeque.
There are three elementary schools (Golden Empire, James W. Marshall, and Sequoia), Albert Einstein Middle School, and Rosemont High School within the boundaries of the family-friendly middle class neighborhood. Edward Kelley Preschool and Capital Christian School are also located in Rosemont.
The Rosemont Community Association works closely with schools and local organizations to strengthen the community. Programs and events include an annual celebration of community, school enhancement, neighborhood-watch, and graffiti abatement. The Cordova Recreation Golf Course can also be found in Rosemont. The 18-hole public course offers a number of youth-oriented camps and clinics.
